Condo Pueblito Escondido

he location is superb, it's clean, and the staff is very friendly. I liked it a lot.

The unit was larger than anticipated and the location was great.

My husband and I have rented condos in several areas of Playa over the years, but Pueblito Escondido is our favorite place---so much so that we recently bought a unit! I see that a previous reviewer mentioned a bad experience here. Each unit is individually owned so maybe he was unfortunate to get a unit that isn't up to the standard, but that hasn't been our experience. What we most love is the rooftop infinity pool---over-18 only---with an equally large and beautiful pool on the ground floor to hang out at if you have kids along. We also bought here because we believe that Calle 38 is absolutely the best location in Playa---quieter than Central but still an easy walk to everything....17 steps onto the white sand beach and a couple of blocks up to Avenida Quinta, the pedestrian mall where everything is happening. If you want to avoid the action, no worries....There are three lovely restaurants on this block-- Italian, Mexican, and Greek---and several more between Albatros and Quinta, including the highly rated Cuevo del Chango. While I'm at it, I'll give a nod to the front desk staff and concierge, who have been consistently helpful in guiding us to all the fun things to do on the peninsula--often with 'insider" advice on how to do things less expensively.

Great location, close to many restaurants and 5th Avenue shopping. Our unit #202 was “tired” but still okay. Roof top adult infinity pool is amazing.
