Private Wedding Venue in Puerto Vallarta – Villa Bahia
Villa Bahia is a fabulous contemporary villa that can be rented for events overlooking the rugged south shore of Puerto Vallarta. The elegant, clean lines are the perfect showcase for the owner’s amazing collection of art from some of Mexico’s most famous artists and the breathtaking view.
1. Is the cost of food and beverages included in the nightly rate?
No, it is not. The staff does all the shopping on an “at cost” basis plus a 15% shopping and delivery fee, which allows our staff to visit more stores to find the highest quality food and beverages at the best prices. Guests are currently experiencing an average of $40 per person per day for food, but this may vary based on liquor consumption.
2. What is included for events?
For an event, we clear out the terrace, allowing space for all the furniture. The “Guests” (up to 10 people) can sleep at the Villa in their bedrooms, and our staff will cater to them as a regular rental (up to two meals per day, full housekeeping services). Our brand new Ocean Terrace can be used to exchange vows at the water’s edge; guests can either join or view from the Villa above for those concerned about the stairs. The cost of food, beverages, and gratuities for the staff are not included. However, for events, the Wedding Planner takes care of food, waiters, beverages, setting, etc. Our staff can cater to events for up to 20 guests, but we will need to hire extra help (such as waiters, tables, etc.) for an additional cost.
3. What’s the maximum amount of guests allowed in the Villa?
For sleeping guests, the maximum amount is 10; we can set it up for 12 with an additional cost for the extra two guests. For events, the maximum number of guests is 50, so they can all fit comfortably for a sit-down dinner; for a non-sit-down event, we can fit up to 75 guests. We are located in a residential area, so noise after 12 am, must be moderate.
