Among the most visited swimmable beaches sit Playa La Lancha, El Anclote, and Playa Cayereros. Although La Lancha is known for its surfing, it is the third break, so the water at the edge is relatively calm and pleasant for wading or short swimming lengths.
All in all, we would say that all the beaches in Punta Mita are swimmable. There are a few rocky areas, but visitors can quickly walk around these areas to access the soft sandy beaches with nice swimming areas.
