Why Los Cabos?

Los Cabos sits at the tip of the Baja Peninsula where the Pacific meets the Sea of Cortez. With 300+ days of sunshine, world-class sport fishing, championship golf, and dramatic desert-meets-ocean landscapes, it’s Mexico’s most iconic luxury destination. A private villa with full staff puts you steps from Medano Beach or perched above the Pacific — with a personal chef and concierge handling everything.

Villa Experience has curated luxury villa rentals in Los Cabos since 2006 — from clifftop Pedregal estates and beachfront Palmilla villas to golf-course homes in Cabo del Sol and Puerto Los Cabos. Every property is personally inspected, private chef, butler, and concierge are available with every stay, and our local team arranges sport-fishing charters, golf tee times, yacht cruises to the Arch, and sunset dinners on the beach.

Guest reviews

In their words.

This house and its incredible team exceeded our wildest expectations in every conceivable way. We came to celebrate my 40th birthday with a group of six friends, and what we experienced was nothing short of magical.

The property is exactly as pictured, which is what sold me on staying there, but it is even better than that! The property is so expansive; there are so many places to be and relax and enjoy the beauty. Apart from the idyllic setting, the staff are who made this trip so extraordinary.

This is a fantastic home with amazing staff. We celebrated my fiancé’s 30th birthday party here with a large group of 16. Everything was perfectly arranged and we had an absolute blast. Definitely stay here if you can!

Frequently asked

Answered plainly.

01What is the best time to visit Los Cabos?

Los Cabos enjoys over 300 days of sunshine a year, making it a true year-round destination. The most popular season is December through April, with warm days around 75–85°F (24–29°C), low humidity, and whale-watching season — humpback and gray whales migrate through the Sea of Cortez from January through March. Summer and early fall (June–October) are warmer with occasional brief tropical showers, but also bring the best sport-fishing conditions and lower villa rates. September is the quietest month with the deepest discounts.

02What is the difference between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo?

Cabo San Lucas is the livelier side — home to the famous Arch (El Arco), Medano Beach, the marina, world-class nightlife, and a walkable downtown with restaurants and bars. San José del Cabo is the quieter, more cultural side, known for its historic Art District, weekly gallery walks, farm-to-table restaurants, and a more relaxed pace. The Los Cabos Corridor connects the two along a 20-mile coastal highway, with championship golf courses, luxury resort communities like Palmilla and Cabo del Sol, and secluded beaches along the way. Many guests split their time between both.

03What services are included in a Los Cabos villa rental?

Every Los Cabos villa booked through Villa Experience can be provided with a private chef or cook (typically 2–3 meals per day, groceries at cost), daily housekeeping, a villa manager, and a dedicated concierge. Depending on the property, you may also have a bartender, pool attendant, and night security. Your concierge handles sport-fishing charters, golf tee times at courses like Cabo del Sol and Palmilla, yacht cruises to the Arch, ATV desert tours, whale watching (Jan–Mar), sunset dinner arrangements, and in-villa spa treatments.

04Are Los Cabos villas suitable for weddings and corporate retreats?

Yes. We offer villas from intimate 4-bedroom homes to grand estates with 10+ bedrooms that accommodate weddings, milestone celebrations, and corporate retreats for up to 100+ guests. Popular wedding villas include oceanfront estates in Pedregal and Palmilla with terraces, infinity pools, and dramatic Pacific views. Your concierge coordinates with local event planners, caterers, florists, photographers, and entertainment. We’ve hosted hundreds of celebrations across Los Cabos and will recommend the right property for your group size and vision.

05Can I go sport fishing in Los Cabos?

Absolutely. Los Cabos is known as the “Marlin Capital of the World” — your concierge books private sport-fishing charters targeting marlin, tuna, dorado, and wahoo, with peak season from July through October. For golf, we arrange tee times at championship courses including Cabo del Sol (Desert and Ocean), Palmilla Golf Club, Puerto Los Cabos, Quivira, and Diamante (Dunes and El Cardón). Yacht charters range from sunset cruises past the Arch to full-day trips to snorkeling spots along the Corridor. We also arrange ATV desert tours, surfing, and diving at Cabo Pulmo reef.
