Why The Corridor?
The Los Cabos Corridor (also known as the Tourist Corridor or Corredor TurÃstico) is the spectacular 20-mile stretch of coastal highway connecting Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo at the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula. This sun-drenched corridor along the Sea of Cortez is home to some of Mexico’s most prestigious resort communities, championship golf courses, and luxury villa estates. The landscape is dramatically different from anywhere else in Mexico — a striking desert-meets-ocean environment where towering cacti and rugged granite formations frame turquoise waters and white-sand beaches.
The Corridor is where you’ll find Los Cabos’ most exclusive gated communities, including Palmilla, Cabo del Sol, Cabo Real, Chileno Bay, Punta Ballena, and Querencia. Each offers its own character: Palmilla anchors one end with the legendary One&Only Resort and a 27-hole Jack Nicklaus golf course; Chileno Bay features one of the region’s best swimmable beaches; and Cabo del Sol boasts two championship courses including a Tom Fazio design. The Corridor’s central location means you’re never more than 20 minutes from either downtown Cabo San Lucas (nightlife, marina, fishing charters) or the charming Art District of San José del Cabo (galleries, farm-to-table dining, Thursday Art Walk). Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) is just 20 minutes east.
