Gringo Gulch is the hillside immediately above old-town Puerto Vallarta, on the slope between Calle Zaragoza and the Río Cuale. We have one villa here: an eight-bedroom house for sixteen.
It is a walking address. The Malecón, the Romantic Zone’s restaurants and the Río Cuale island are all about five minutes on foot, and Los Muertos Beach is ten. The airport is a twenty-minute drive.
The house itself is a renovated estate of roughly 8,000 square feet on several levels, looking out over the clay-tiled roofs of the old town to Banderas Bay and the Sierra Madre behind. It has a heated pool, an eight-person jacuzzi on the upper terrace, three wet bars and an outdoor kitchen.

03Can you walk everywhere from Gringo Gulch?
Yes, and most guests do. The old town, the Malecón, the galleries and the Romantic Zone restaurants are all within about five minutes on foot. The streets are steep and cobbled, so the walk back up is a climb.

Yes. The house has a heated swimming pool and an eight-person jacuzzi on the upper terrace, with three wet bars, an outdoor barbecue and a full outdoor kitchen across its terraces.
