Zorba Penthouse

Zorba Penthouse is part of the curated Villa Experience collection, a two-bedroom home occupying the top floor of the Zorba property in Tulum. The position is the point of it: a bird’s-eye view over the white sand and turquoise sea, high enough to catch the breeze and take in the whole sweep of the beach. It is reached by its own private entrance via an exterior staircase, which gives the home a self-contained feel despite sitting within a shared property.

The living area is open and bright, with glass doors that slide back to let the sea air move through, and a patio just outside for taking in the view at a slower pace. Each room has been arranged to face the water, so the connection to the beach is never more than a glance away. Natural elements and artistic touches throughout reflect the easygoing character of Tulum, and the kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals with the sound of the sea in the background. Being on the top floor, the home stays notably quieter than ground level and catches light from early morning through to sunset.

The layout suits two couples travelling together or a family. The master bedroom has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom holds a queen bed alongside two single beds and its own ensuite bathroom, which makes it a practical room for children or a third couple sharing. Both bedrooms overlook the pool. The home sleeps four to six comfortably depending on how the second room is used, and the private entrance means guests can come and go without passing through the rest of the property.

Guests have full access to the wider Zorba property, including the large communal pool, the shared rooftop perch above the beach, the yoga shala and fitness studio, and the beachfront set out with loungers and day beds. Stand-up paddleboards, sea kayaks and boogie boards are all available. Staff are on site daily to welcome and assist guests, security is present at night, and chef service can be arranged on request. The beach itself runs a long stretch of soft white sand into clear, warm Caribbean water, with restaurants, spas and yoga classes all within a short and easy walk along the shoreline.
