Casa Karma

Casa Karma is a private beachfront estate in Conchas Chinas, Puerto Vallarta — and one of the city’s only private beachfront venues for weddings and celebrations, hosting cocktail-style receptions of up to 200 guests. Eight ensuite suites sleep up to 16 overnight guests across 10,000 square feet of terraces stepping down the hillside to a semi-private cove, with an infinity pool suspended over Banderas Bay and an on-site team that has hosted stays and celebrations here for years.

It is a house, not a hotel. A private chef cooks to your table from customized menus, and daily housekeeping, waiter and bartender service, laundry and a personal concierge are all included with the stay. The galleries and restaurants of the Romantic Zone are a five-minute drive away — close enough for dinner in town, far enough to hear only the surf — and PVR airport is roughly twenty-five minutes.

The eight suites — Love Vine (the penthouse), Orchid, Forget-me-not, Primavera, Agave, Morning Glory, Hibiscus and Bugambilia — each have ensuite baths; six hold king beds, the Agave Suite holds two double beds and the Bugambilia Suite a pair of queens. An elevator serves the levels, and an open-air atrium, formal dining room, gourmet kitchen and free on-site parking round out the estate.

For celebrations, three cascading beachfront event terraces flow down to the sand. The Lower Terrace (Labyrinth) seats 150 for a ceremony or 120 for a banquet around its Chartres-style stone labyrinth, with direct beach access; the Middle Terrace (70 ceremony / 50 banquet) carries a dedicated bar, air-conditioned restrooms and a dressing room for the couple; and the Upper Terrace (Garden), with its cantera fountain, event kitchen and signature orchid wall, hosts lounge receptions and welcome parties. Fireworks rise over Banderas Bay most evenings. All events require a full-house buyout with a four-night minimum stay — three nights for October weddings, in the rainy season — and event fees are tiered by guest count from $1,550 to $4,000 USD plus VAT; a professional event planner is required, and you are welcome to bring your own planner and vendors with no vendor fees.
