It’s accessed via a turnoff from Highway 307. Cancún International Airport (CUN) is approximately 75 minutes north, and Playa del Carmen is about 40 minutes north.

Soliman Bay offers far more privacy and seclusion than Tulum’s Beach Zone. There are no beach clubs, restaurants, or commercial development on the bay — just private villas on a protected reef lagoon. The water is calmer and shallower, making it better for swimming and families with children. Tulum Beach Zone offers a more social, bohemian atmosphere with restaurants and nightlife nearby.
