Upper Amapas sits higher on the Sierra Madre foothills with sweeping panoramic views, while Lower Amapas is at beach level with direct access to the sand. Downtown Puerto Vallarta and the Malecón are a 5–10 minute walk downhill, and Puerto Vallarta International Airport (PVR) is approximately 25 minutes by car.
