Frequently asked

Answered plainly

When can you visit the Marietas?

Our catalogue marks the Marietas trips November to May. The islands are a national park with a daily visitor cap and the hidden beach needs the tide and the permits to agree, so the operator confirms on the morning rather than at the time of booking.

Which tours actually leave from Punta Mita?

The Marietas boat leaves from Bahia de Banderas. The ATV ride and the mountain biking both start in Sayulita, about twenty-five minutes up the coast, and the horseback ride runs between Punta de Mita and Sayulita. None of them picks up inside the resort gates, so allow for the drive out.

Which suit families?

The horseback ride and the Marietas boat trip are the two that work for mixed ages. The zip lines and the ATV have minimum ages and weights set by the operator.

How does booking work?

These tours book on GetYourGuide. We choose them and keep the list checked; the operator holds the booking and the cancellation terms. We earn a commission on the links, and the page says so at the bottom.
