What to book in Cozumel

Villa ExperienceExperiences · CozumelNovember 2026

The Mexican Caribbean · An island of reefs

Cozumel is a diving island, so the Turtle Sanctuary Snorkel Tour and the One-Tank Dive with Chankanaab Park Access are the two to book first. Off the water it is the Mexican Lucha Libre Experience in San Miguel and the chocolate workshop at the Mayan Cacao Company.

Our houses in Cozumel

Villa Experience holds seven villas on Cozumel, from four to ten bedrooms, arranged on request rather than listed publicly. Tell us your dates and how many are coming and an advisor will send the houses that are free, with photographs and a written quote.

Frequently asked

Answered plainly

Is there a best season for Cozumel?

Not for these five. Our catalogue has every Cozumel tour running year round, which is unusual on this coast; the reef and the island's indoor evenings do not keep a season. Water clarity is best outside the autumn storms.

Which suit families?

The chocolate workshop is ninety minutes and good with children of almost any age, and the turtle sanctuary snorkel works for anyone who can swim. Lucha libre is loud and late but not unsuitable. The one-tank dive needs a briefing and is for adults and older teenagers.

Where do they start?

All five start on Cozumel itself, most of them in or near San Miguel. The private caves and ruins tour is a five-hour drive around the island with lunch; the dive leaves from Chankanaab park on the west coast.

How far are they from your villas?

Our Cozumel houses sit on the two coast roads: four on the Carretera Costera Sur below San Miguel and three on the northern coast road in the Country Club area. San Miguel's restaurants are about 15.2 km from the southern houses, which is also roughly where the lucha libre arena and the ferry dock are.

How does booking work?

These book on GetYourGuide, not with us. We pick them and keep the list checked; the operator holds the booking and the cancellation terms. We earn a commission on the links, and the page says so at the bottom.
