Condo Perla del Mar sits within the UAVI Beachfront Residences at Punta de Mita, on a stretch of coast where more than two kilometres of white sand run uninterrupted in front of the building. Four bedrooms sleep ten. The architecture is deliberately quiet — pale plaster, blond timber, wide openings — and it is organised so that daylight and the Pacific reach the back of the plan rather than stopping at the first room. The result is a residence that feels more like a beach house than an apartment.

An open-plan chef’s kitchen runs into the living and dining areas, and all three give onto a beachfront terrace with a private jacuzzi and the sand immediately beyond it. The arrangement suits a group that wants staffing scaled to the week rather than a fixed brigade, and the beach club covers the rest. Housekeeping, chef service and transfers can all be scaled up for a longer stay or left off entirely for a short one.

Punta de Mita town lies a few minutes away, with its restaurants, fish market and the boats that run out to the Marietas Islands. The gated Punta Mita resort and its golf begins just north, Sayulita is around twenty-five minutes by road, and Puerto Vallarta International Airport roughly forty. The beach in front of the residence is swimmable and long enough to walk for an hour without turning back.
