Condo Cuenco

Condo Cuenco sits in Surf Residences on the eastern shoulder of the Punta Mita peninsula, a hundred and twenty metres from the sand and within sight of both the ocean and the mangroves behind it. Four bedrooms and a separate staff room accommodate ten guests across a single generous floor, finished in a modern wabi-sabi idiom of lime-washed walls, pale stone and warm timber screens. The register is quiet rather than showy, and the residence reads as a house rather than an apartment.

Living, dining and kitchen share one volume that opens through full-height sliding panels onto a deep terrace with lounge seating and a private pool. A separate television room gives the group a second place to gather. The master suite runs the width of the residence, with a king bed, a seating area with sofa and desk, and a bathroom holding a soaking tub and a double shower. Three further bedrooms each hold two beds and open to planted terraces of their own, and a fifth room with its own bathroom serves as staff quarters. Five bathrooms in total are finished in the same restrained palette of lime-washed plaster, pale stone and warm wood, with the same full-height doors carrying daylight deep into the plan.

Daily housekeeping is included. Beyond it, a private chef, butler, bartender, pre-arrival grocery stocking, in-villa spa and wellness treatments, transportation and golf-cart rental are arranged on request through a personal concierge. The stay carries a Premier Golf Membership at Club Punta Mita, opening the private beach clubs at Pacifico, Kupuri, Sufi and the St Regis, the two Jack Nicklaus Signature courses, the tennis, pickleball and paddle courts, and the fitness centre. A six-passenger golf cart is included, and the community keeps 24-hour security at the gate.

Surf Residences takes its name from what lies in front of it: the break at El Anclote is a few minutes away, and the beach club at Pacifico a short cart ride. The restaurants and boutiques of Punta de Mita town are ten minutes by cart, Sayulita around twenty-five minutes by road, and Puerto Vallarta International Airport roughly forty. The Marietas Islands, a protected reserve reached by boat from the marina, make an easy half-day.
