The park

A day in the Sierra Madre, at full speed.

Extreme Adventure is the suspension bridge day near Puerto Vallarta, in a natural reserve in the Sierra Madre about an hour’s drive away, with the van there and back included. You drive a Polaris RZR along a guided off-road route and across the bridge, then work through a circuit of ziplines, jumps and slides.

Superman is the long line: more than 1,200 metres at over 100 km/h. There is also a pendulum jump with a 30-foot free fall, a rappel from a treetop, a Roller Coaster zipline, tightropes, a hillside water slide and a wind tunnel that simulates a skydive.

Every activity is optional, so a whole villa group can go together and each person chooses their own day.

How long is the suspension bridge?

Vallarta Adventures does not publish its length. You drive across it in your ATV as part of the guided off-road route, and our concierge can ask for details when you book.

Who drives the ATV?

You do, following your guide along the off-road route and over the bridge. The driver age and licence rules are confirmed when you book.

Is it suitable for beginners?

Yes. Every activity is optional and the circuit is built for different ages and skill levels, so first-timers can pick what suits them. The minimum age is 8.

How far is the park from Puerto Vallarta?

About an hour’s drive into the Sierra Madre. Round-trip transport by air-conditioned van is included.

What should we wear?

Comfortable clothes you do not mind getting dirty, and closed-toe shoes, which are required. Bring spare clothes; there are changing rooms at base camp.
