In short
Playacar Phase 2 is the gated residential half of Playacar, south of central Playa del Carmen, set among jungle rather than on the shore. We have two villas here, both of five bedrooms, sleeping ten.
One is a contemporary design-forward house with jungle views, alfresco dining, an outdoor shower and a barbecue. The other is a bolder thing altogether: a wraparound moat-style swimming pool, a wood-fired pizza oven, a sunken trampoline and an indoor palm tree rising through a double-height living room.
Restaurants, bars and a grocery store are each about a kilometre away; the beach is 3.5 km and golf 3.1 km. Cancún airport is 60 km.
The neighborhood
Playacar Phase 2 is the larger side of Playa del Carmen’s gated Playacar community — built around the golf course, with restaurants, shops, and a wide range of villa sizes inside the gates. The beach and Quinta Avenida are minutes away.
Our Phase 2 homes suit families and groups who want gated calm with the town close by. Daily housekeeping and a dedicated concierge come with every home, and our advisors know each house personally.

No — Phase 2 sits inland among the jungle, about 3.5 km from the sand. What it gives instead is a gated setting with space and quiet, close to the town.
One is a calm contemporary house with jungle views and an outdoor shower. The other is deliberately playful: a wraparound moat-style pool, a wood-fired pizza oven, a sunken trampoline and a palm tree growing up through the living room.
