Villa Taiyari

Villa Taiyari is an eight-bedroom beachfront villa in Iyari Estates, inside Punta Mita Resort, the gated community on the Punta Mita peninsula in Riviera Nayarit, with its own direct access to the beach. The house is built around light and the ocean: high timber ceilings, rooms that open to the terraces, and a view of the water from every one of its eight bedrooms. Taiyari means “my heart”; the name comes from a sacred symbol of the Wixárika (Huichol) people that stands for the heart, the center of connection, protection and belonging.

Two master suites with bathtubs, four guest suites and two bunk rooms sleep up to sixteen guests, with thirteen bathrooms in the house. Around them: a heated pool and jacuzzi with a pool bar, a cinema, a gym, a spa with a sauna and a steam room, a barbecue grill, a wood-fired oven and a six-seat golf cart for getting around the resort, where two Jack Nicklaus golf courses, tennis and fitness facilities are a short ride away (access, reservations and fees may apply).

The service team comes with the villa: a concierge, a butler and bartender, housekeeping, and a chef who prepares breakfast and lunch (the chef’s service is included; the food cost is not). Service hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; longer hours, additional dining services and extra staff can be arranged on request at an additional charge. Humpback whales are in the Bay of Banderas from roughly November to April, and the Marietas Islands are a boat ride away.
