Luminosa means luminous and the house earns it — floor-to-ceiling openings, white walls that amplify light, ocean visible from the main areas. Four bedrooms, cook who made incredible breakfasts and dinners. Pool was clean and well-maintained. We biked to cenotes, explored the boutiques on the beach road. The open design means nature visits — a small price for the brightness.
Really pleasant stay. The layout worked well for our group of six. Cook made breakfast every morning and two dinners — both excellent. The terrace catches good sunset light. One bedroom was slightly warmer than the others but the fan helped.
Honeymoon at Luminosa. The master bedroom’s ocean wall is basically a screensaver you live inside. Chef prepared romantic dinners for two. We snorkeled, kayaked, slept late. The property has a quiet, contemplative energy. The outdoor shower is a feature, not a compromise. Modern design, warm feeling.
