A dramatic two-story waterfall entrance sets the tone for this refined retreat, which sits just a short walk downhill from Los Muertos Beach and the vibrant Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta. The villa accommodates up to fourteen guests and rents as four through seven bedrooms, making it an exceptional choice for multi-generational families, groups of friends, and corporate or wellness retreats.

The contemporary coastal design blends modern Mexican architecture with organic details that seamlessly frame the natural surroundings. The open-concept main level features a spacious living and dining area that flows onto an expansive terrace overlooking the heated infinity pool, poolside jacuzzi, and the Pacific beyond. My daughter’s graduation trip. Seven bedrooms absorbed three families. Chef adjusted to a teenager’s pasta obsession and the adults’ seafood cravings simultaneously. We walked the Malecón, did a tequila tasting. The pool terrace hosted the celebration dinner. Rocio found us a mariachi — cliché, magical.

Ventana’s bay-facing windows are floor-to-ceiling — waking up feels like being on a boat. Seven bedrooms, chef whose pozole on night three became legendary in our group. We explored Old PV on foot, took a sunset sail. Rocio’s restaurant list was perfect. The terraced garden smells like frangipani at dusk.

The bedroom window frames Banderas Bay like a painting. I woke up to it every morning — silver light, pelicans, the mountains in the distance — and felt something shift. The cook prepared beautiful dinners all week. We took the water taxi to Yelapa, walked the Malecón at sunset, ate incredible street tacos in Romántica. But it’s the window I think about. That specific view from that specific pillow at that specific hour. Rocio suggested this house because I told her I wanted something with a view that would change how I see things. She understood exactly what I meant.
