Punta de Mita is the fishing village and the coast around it at the northern tip of Banderas Bay, on the Riviera Nayarit. We have twenty villas and one condo here, from three bedrooms to nine, sleeping six to twenty.
This is the village side of the peninsula, outside the gates of the Punta Mita resort — and it is where most of the genuinely beachfront houses are. They run along a chain of small enclaves: El Banco and El Farallón on the cliffs, Bolongo and Pontoquito on their own shores, Punta del Burro and Real del Mar to the north, and Selva inland.
Between them they offer three-tiered infinity pools, grand palapas, private white-sand beaches, outdoor bathtubs facing the sea and direct beach access on Playa Careyeros.
Puerto Vallarta airport is a forty-five-minute drive and Sayulita twenty minutes. The Pacífico and Kupuri beach clubs and the Pacífico golf course inside the resort are five minutes away by car.

Punta de Mita is the village and the coast outside those gates, with its own enclaves — El Banco, El Farallón, Bolongo, Pontoquito, Punta del Burro, Real del Mar and Selva. We keep the two apart because they are different places to stay.

04Which side has the beachfront houses?
