In short
La Veleta is the neighbourhood in the tropical forest west of Tulum town, about four kilometres inland from the beach road. We have five villas here, from eight bedrooms to sixteen, sleeping sixteen to thirty-six.
They are the largest houses in our Tulum collection. One is a contemporary hacienda for twenty; two are Moroccan-influenced residences, formerly a boutique hotel, which can be taken separately or together as a sixteen-bedroom estate for forty; one is a Moorish-inspired eight-bedroom with a rooftop pool over the canopy; and one is a minimalist eight-bedroom with an eighteen-metre pool.
Every one of them is built around the jungle rather than cleared out of it — endemic trees kept in the gardens, rooftop terraces at canopy height, and courtyards open to the forest.
Tulum town is four kilometres away and the beach about 4.6. Tulum International Airport is 40.4 km; Cancún is 120.
The neighborhood
La Veleta is Tulum’s inland neighborhood — quieter and greener than the beach zone, with cenotes and jungle gardens between contemporary villas. The strip, the ruins, and the beach clubs are minutes away by bike or car.
Our La Veleta homes are a small set for guests who want Tulum’s design and food scene with more calm and more space. Daily housekeeping and a dedicated concierge come with every home, and our advisors know each house personally.

Tulum town and its restaurants are four kilometres away, the beach 4.6, and a gym and spa are within walking distance of some of the houses. The nearest golf is 26.5 km. Playa del Carmen is 66 km up the coast.
