Three bookings, and the Isla Ixtapa Day Trip with Lunch is the first: a short boat to a protected island with calm water to swim in. The other two are the Turtle Release Experience on a beach north of Zihuatanejo and the Xihuacan Archaeological Tour with its museum.

Frequently asked

Answered plainly

Is there a season for the turtle release?

Not one our catalogue states. The camp north of Zihuatanejo releases through most of the year, and the talk comes before the release whichever month you go.

Which suit families?

All three, which is unusual. Isla Ixtapa is calm water and a lunch; the turtle release is short and in the evening; Xihuacan is a five-hour visit with a museum, so it suits older children better.

Where do they start?

All three start in Ixtapa or Zihuatanejo with pickup. Xihuacan, also called La Chole, is inland from the coast and the drive is part of the five hours.

How does booking work?

All three book on GetYourGuide rather than with us. We choose them and keep the list checked; the operator holds the booking, the payment and the cancellation terms. We earn a commission on the links, as the page says at the bottom.
