Palma Azul is a cozy two-bedroom with a pool and chef service — no ocean view from this one but the garden is peaceful. Chef made incredible tortas and fresh juices for lunch. We golf-carted to the beach daily. The unit is intimate — perfect for a couple or small family. Rocio recommended a massage therapist who came to the condo. The complex is well-managed.
Couples trip — 3 of us at Condo Palma Azul for four nights. Two bedrooms with space to spare. Chef’s food was the pleasant surprise of the trip. The garden is mature — tall palms, thick hedges, real privacy. Front-facing rooms pick up some road noise. We played golf. Relaxed pace, good food, no stress.
No ocean view and that was the point. We wanted green, not blue. The garden here is dense and beautiful and the pool sits in the middle of it like a clearing in a forest. The cook made fresh ceviche and grilled fish most evenings. We walked to the beach, biked to a cenote, explored town for dinner once. The garden at night — crickets, warm air, stars through the palms — was the most peaceful place I’ve been in years. Hot water took a minute to arrive in the morning. Small thing.
