The Chef and owner of the specular Asai restaurant, Yasuo, mixes traditional methods and flavors with creative innovations. In love with many ingredients of Mexican cuisine, the Chef has inserted unique touches to traditional Kaiseki food, using everything from guacamole to Oaxaca cheese, perfectly combining the delicacies of Japan and Mexico.
Chef Asai hails from Nagoya in Japan, and culinary art has been his passion since he was a little boy experimenting in his mother’s kitchen. Known for his work at the Hyatt Regency Yoshimi restaurant in Mexico City, Asai chose to stay in our country and continue to satisfy his curiosity and passion for gastronomy. Chef Yasuo expresses his love for culinary art in every exquisite bite.
