Casa Gaia

Casa Gaia is an intimate one-bedroom villa within the Mahayana Tulum collection, a gated beachfront property in the boutique hotel area of Tulum’s Beach Zone. Nestled into natural greenery for maximum privacy, this 650-square-foot retreat features a vaulted palapa roof, curved walls, exposed post-and-beam construction, and artistic accents that create a lofty, generous atmosphere despite its compact footprint. The bright interior captures the turquoise sea and beach through expansive windows, allowing guests to enjoy ocean views from the comfort of bed and living area alike.

The villa features a king-bedded suite with air conditioning, ceiling fan, ensuite bathroom with shower, and organic toiletries made with sacred Mayan honey. The open-plan living space includes a comfortable seating area with cushions and a low table, a small kitchen for light meal preparation, and a table for intimate dining. Glass doors open wide to let in the sea breeze and connect the interior to an intimate patio protected by lush greenery. Purified drinking water is provided and replenished daily in refillable containers.

As a Mahayana guest, Casa Gaia comes with full access to the property’s shared beachfront amenities, including a seaside swimming pool, shade palapas with day beds, beach loungers on the white Caribbean sand, and complimentary boogie boards, sea kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards. The guest-only taco and breakfast stand serves authentic Mexican food and fresh juices from eight thirty in the morning until four in the afternoon. Daily housekeeping, concierge, grounds team, and security are all included, with private chef service, massages, yoga sessions, and airport transfers available on request.

Mahayana’s central location in the boutique hotel area makes exploring Tulum’s restaurants, shops, and wellness studios a matter of minutes on foot. The ancient Mayan ruins are a short drive north, cenotes dot the surrounding jungle, and the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve is easily accessible. Cancun International Airport is approximately 146 kilometers away, and the new Tulum International Airport sits just 53 kilometers to the south.
