Villa Perla is a three-bedroom villa in the Porta Fortuna community of Punta Mita, offering ocean views and a private plunge pool for up to eight guests. Our family of 4 stayed here over spring break and Villa Perla delivered. having beach club access made the whole stay effortless the private chef prepared increíble meals We arranged paddleboarding at El Anclote and it was a highlight.

The garden hammock was contested territory. Two adults, one hammock, five days of negotiation. Chef served lunch to whoever won each hour. The property is comfortable everywhere but the hammock is transcendent.

Small house, big quality. Everything here is curated — the art, the linens, the kitchen, the view of the Pacific from the plunge pool. The cook made a different dish every evening and the zarandeado on night four was genuinely restaurant-quality. We surfed Porta Fortuna’s break, had dinner at a beachside restaurant the concierge recommended, otherwise stayed close. Three couples for a long weekend. Tight but we didn’t need more. The view from the terrace alone justified the trip.
