Villa Blanca

Villa Blanca is a four-bedroom beachfront bohemian villa on Tankah Bay, Tulum, accommodating up to 8 guests in a setting defined by whitewashed walls, natural textures, and a connection to nature that goes well beyond the usual tropical villa experience. The property sits directly on the beach with a private cenote accessible on the grounds — one of the only beachfront villas in the area with this feature — as well as a palapa-roofed overwater pier that stretches into the turquoise bay, a plunge pool with ocean views, and a wood-fired pizza oven built into a natural stone wall.

The four bedrooms are individually designed with king beds, bohemian art, macramé wall hangings, woven details, and concrete or stone ensuites with round mirrors, floating vanities, and black fixtures. Several bedrooms have direct terrace or balcony access with hammocks overlooking the sea. An outdoor stone shower sits among the palms. A rooftop daybed platform tucked under palapa offers one of the best sunset viewpoints in Tankah Bay.

The living spaces are relaxed and purposefully organic — a sunlit living room with a built-in sectional sofa and macramé wall art, an indoor dining room with a terracotta accent wall and a wooden table for eight, and a modern U-shaped kitchen with a wood island and bar stools. An outdoor palapa dining area with straw pendant lights doubles as the main social space, positioned between the plunge pool and the beach. A sandbox bocce court and children’s wooden playground are tucked among the palms for families.

Daily housekeeping and a pre-arrival concierge are included. Private chef, kayaks, and airport transfers are available at additional cost.

Tankah Bay is a quieter, less visited stretch of the Riviera Maya coastline south of Soliman Bay, with a natural cenote system running directly to the sea. Tulum town is approximately 10 km (15 minutes). Cancún International Airport (CUN) is 125 km, approximately 100 minutes. Tulum International Airport (TQO) is 40 km, approximately 45 minutes.

The cenote on the property is a rare feature — a natural freshwater pool connected to the underground river system that runs beneath the Yucatán Peninsula and emerges at the sea’s edge here in Tankah Bay. Guests can snorkel directly into the cenote from the beach, swimming between the freshwater cave system and the open Caribbean within a few meters. The overwater palapa pier extends from the beach into the bay with a hammock suspended above the water — a place to read, nap, or simply watch the light change over the reef. Kayaks are stored beachside for further exploration.
