Penthouse Golf is a three-bedroom penthouse nestled within the Las Terrazas community of the Punta Mita Resort in Riviera Nayarit. Set on an upper floor with sweeping views over the Jack Nicklaus championship golf course and serene lake, the residence combines elegant interiors with an expansive terrace ideal for dining and relaxing under the Pacific sky. Open-plan living and dining areas flow naturally to the outdoor space, creating a refined setting for up to eight guests seeking the finest in resort living.
The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, a kitchen island, dishwasher, blender, coffee and tea maker, microwave, toaster, oven, and complete serveware. Smart TVs, high-speed Wi-Fi (100+ Mbps), air conditioning, ceiling fans, room-darkening shades, a washer and dryer, and elevator access ensure comfort throughout. Top floor overlooking the golf course. Three bedrooms, rooftop access, plunge pool. The views alternate between ocean and green fairways. Cook prepared a birria dinner that was deeply satisfying. We played two rounds — the Nicklaus course is exceptional. Rocio arranged a couples massage at the house. The elevator is small — plan for multiple luggage trips.

The Nicklaus course is visible from the terrace and I watched players on the 14th green while drinking my morning coffee. Then I played it myself. Then I came back and watched the sunset turn the fairways gold. The cook made regional dishes every evening and the shrimp aguachile was a standout. Three of us, golf every day, the cook’s food every night. The penthouse position gives views in every direction. My handicap didn’t improve but my mood certainly did. Salud!

The cook knew the local ingredients like she’d grown up with them — which she probably had. Nayarit specialties every evening, fresh tortillas from a comal on the counter, salsas that had real kick. We surfed La Lancha, golfed, walked the village. Las Terrazas is residential and quiet. Five of us for six days and we came home calmer than we’ve been in a year.
