Casa Tropical is a four-bedroom contemporary jungle villa in Region 15, Tulum, accommodating up to 10 guests in a setting where modernist architecture and dense tropical canopy are in constant dialogue. Built across two levels of concrete, slatted wood, and glass, the property revolves around an elevated private pool overlooking the jungle — a scene that is equally arresting at dawn, at midday, and illuminated at dusk. Solar panels power the house sustainably.

The four bedrooms are distributed across the villa with privacy in mind. Two king suites each feature sliding glass doors that open directly to the pool or a private garden courtyard, vaulted wood ceilings, pendant lighting, wardrobe storage, and air conditioning. Both have open-air or ensuite bathrooms with stone or built-in soaking tubs and rain showers. Two twin bedrooms are equipped with rattan closet doors, a wood desk, TV, air conditioning, WiFi, and — one of the villa’s signature design details — their own private outdoor soaking tubs set among the trees.

The ground level is anchored by a double-height open-plan living and dining room: rattan lounge chairs, large jungle-facing windows, natural light from every direction, and a live-edge dining table that seats all 10 guests comfortably. The wood-paneled vaulted kitchen is fully equipped with oven, stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, and all cooking essentials. Covered wooden terraces and walkways weave through the canopy connecting each part of the property. The elevated pool is flanked by sun loungers, a hammock, and a pergola draped in jungle shade.

The bamboo treehouse palapa is a standout feature — a handcrafted structure nestled into the canopy above the main house, ideal for reading, afternoon naps, or watching the light filter through the trees at golden hour.

Region 15 is Tulum’s most sought-after jungle residential zone — a neighborhood of architect-designed homes set among cenotes and tropical vegetation, away from the crowds of the hotel zone. The beach is 8 km away, approximately 10 minutes by car or bike. Tulum’s restaurant strip and Mayan ruins are 5–10 minutes. Playa del Carmen is 65 km (about one hour). Cancún International Airport (CUN) is approximately 130 km, roughly 2 hours. Tulum International Airport (TQO) is approximately 15 km, roughly 20 minutes.
