One of the charms of Baja is the rich regional cuisine that keeps evolving with the times. Mexico offers an astounding variety of culinary styles from North to South. It is a pleasant surprise to taste the width and length of the range of Mexican dishes that your palate can appreciate. In order to showcase this cultural wealth, several culinary festivals take place every year in the most popular destinations in Mexico such as Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco and Los Cabos. Wherever you go, your taste buds are in for an orgy of flavor, color and hedonism that goes well beyond tortillas and guacamole.
Sabor a Cabo is the name of the culinary festival tempting the palates of those with the good taste of spending their vacation in Los Cabos. The yearly festival is organized by CANIRAC, the national chamber of the restaurant industry and its benefits go to support local institutions and charities such as the Firefighters or the Red Cross. Can you find a better way to enjoy yourself and feel great afterwards? Sabor a Cabo is designed to entertain their guests while promoting Baja cuisine, and they have succeeded in doing exactly that during past editions.
Sabor a Cabo is not just a festival about cuisine but about live music, and even if you are on a bikini diet, you will enjoy the great party atmosphere and the quality music acts that accompany the exhibition of Mexican dishes and the tequila and mescal tastings. It couldn´t be any other way! Los Cabos likes to party in a grand style and if we look at last year´s performances, the bar is really high for their 2013 edition. The attending public had the chance to listen to the musical shenanigans of The Magnificent Seven. That nickname was awarded to a group of musicians who have taken part in some of the best bands of the 80´s such as Billy Morrison of The Cult, Steven Stevens of Billy Idol and Matt Sorum of Guns N´ Roses.
