San Jose Del Cabo Art Walk

San Jose del Cabo Art Walk
One of the most popular events among art lovers. It actually is not an event but a weekly celebration of art during high season (November to June). Every Thursday, the Gallery District of San Jose del Cabo becomes an open-air, street-wide fiesta, where visitors walk from gallery to gallery while enjoying complimentary cocktails and live music. During the winter, there is no better way to spend a Thursday evening than at the Art Walk. Art walks take place every Thursday evening between November and April, luring visitors from all walks of life to stroll down to the San Jose del Cabo Art District before heading to one of the finest restaurants in town. Far from big city art fairs, in San Jose del Cabo´s art walks you will meet with the creators of your favorite paintings while you sip a glass of bubbly on the house.

You will find plenty of inspiration to decorate your home amidst the hand-crafted accessories and forged steel pieces on display at Casa Don Pablo and the variety of works in bronze, resin, oil and mixed media collage that will tease your eyes at Casa Dahlia. Are you looking for the perfect home-warming gift or want to surprise your friends back home with some Naïve Folk art? Or perhaps you are in search of the finest quality artwork for your luxury villa in Los Cabos Golden Corridor? There are over a dozen galleries offering the best works of Mexican and international artists to find what you wish for and whet your appetite for more. On a different note, Muvezi Gallery brings the finest African sculptures to Pacific shores and donates 20% of their earnings to beat malaria, providing you with the chance of practicing the art of charity together with your love for art. Worth noting down in your agenda, the weekly Artwalks in San Jose del Cabo are the perfect excuse to enjoy a glass of Cabernet in an elegant environment. While mingling with the guests, watch out for big celebrities trying to hide behind their oversized shades, you never know who might go shopping for art in Los Cabos!

There you have, Cabo is a buzzing place with lots of things to do and outstanding events year after year. This list didn’t aim to be an exhaustive one, as we tried to cover the most representative events of the region. However, other events like GastroVino Baja Food & Wine Festival, Todos Santos Music & Art Festival, The Open of Los Cabos, Los Cabos Mercedes Golf Tournament, Los Cabos Open of Surf, also deserve an honorable mention and prove the point that in Baja there is never a boring day!
